Dr. Albert received his B.A. from Duke University in Durham, N.C. in 1974. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Medical School in 1978, and then completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Pittsburgh in 1983. He became board-certified in orthopaedic surgery in 1985, and has been in private practice since 1983. He has served as team physician for Fullerton High School from 1985-1988, and for Irvine Valley College from 1993-1999. He has been past President of the Independent Physican Association of Irvine from 1997-1999. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Western Orthopaedic Association, the California Medical Association, the Orange County Medical Association, and the International Arthroscopy Association. Dr. Albert also holds several medical qualifications, including Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME), Agreed Medical Evaluator (AME), and Independent Medical Evaluator (IME). In addition, Dr. Albert has given numerous lectures on the treatment of knee and shoulder injuries and problems. |

Kim joined our staff in 1999 as my office manager. She is a Certified Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist, who brings several years of clinical hands-on experience from family practice and urgent care settings. She is responsible for all office operations and is the person you will most likely speak to concerning surgery scheduling. You can count on Kimberly to handle your requests professionaly, efficiently, and with a warm personal touch.

Sandra joined our staff in 1998. She works in our front office and will most likely assist you in scheduling appointments and obtaining authorizations from your insurance company for any diagnostic testing.

Fran handles all of the patient accounts processing, including charge entry, insurance billing, and collections. Whenever you have any questions about your account, don't hesitate to call Fran. Her keen knowledge of reimbursement policies and plan coverages has helped many patients better understand their insurance benefits.

Gail is a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), better known as an x-ray technician. Gail is fully licensed and well experienced to provide us with the best "pictures" of your musculo-skeletal system. She also helps out in the back office during our patient care sessions.
